An example of a Wedding Reception based solely on our Itinerary.  The types of music listed are suggestions only.

Based on a 6 hour booking for a wedding reception taking place from 6 p.m. - 12 Midnight., with dinner at 7:30 p.m.:

4:30 p.m. - We arrive to set up.
5:30 p.m. - Set up completed.  We change into formal attire.
We will have music playing before your first guest enters the room.
6 p.m. - Guests start arriving to hall.
Cocktail music is a combination of popular jazz, adult contemporary, and soft rock.
During this time we meet with your hall manager, photographer, and videographer to go over your itinerary.
6:45 p.m. - Bride and Groom (and bridal party) arrive to hall.
During this time we meet the Bridal Party outside the hall to arrange entrance.
6:50 p.m. - We introduce/announce the Bridal Party into the room.
Introduction music is whatever you chose during our 'pre-event' consultation.
7:10 p.m. - We announce everyone to please be seated for dinner.
During this time a wireless mic is set up for the toast and blessing.
7:15 p.m. - We welcome everyone, and introduce the Best Man for Toast, followed by introduction of person saying grace or blessing.
7:30 p.m. - We announce the style of dinner being served (buffet, family style, etc.).  Dinner is served.
Dinner music is a blend of piano, new age, and standards.
8:15 p.m. - Cake cutting is announced, and takes place.
8:30 - Bridal Dance.
8:45 - Father / Daughter Dance.
8:50 - Mother / Son Dance.
8:55 p.m. - Bouquet Toss.
9 p.m. - Garter Dance.
9:05 p.m. - Garter Toss.
9:10 p.m. - The recipients of the Garter and Bouquet Toss do the Garter Dance.
9:15 p.m. - Party Time !  The Dance Floor Is Open !
Music from 9:15 - 10:15 is a very large variety spanning all era's.  2 interactive dances. 
During this hour we make special announcements (anniversary's, birthdays, etc.).
Music from 10:15 - 11:15 Variety narrows just a bit, leaning more towards the successful types from the 1st hour.  2 Interactive dances.
Early in this hour, we do the Dollar Dance (if requested).
Music from 11:15 - Midnight is leaned heavily toward the successful types, and much more current material.  1 interactive dance.
12 Midnight - One encore / additional song (if your hall allows us).
12 Midnight - Tear down.
